Chart notes
GURNEY HALLECK slowest out of the chute, steady progress circled four wide around the turn, three wide running on the wrong lead leaving the sixteenth marker, relentlessly rallied through the final yards up under the wire. CHUCK TOWN broke slow, chased inside off the pace into the turn, gaining ground with every stride along the rail leaving the quarter, had momentum stymied in traffic at the furlong marker, quickly angled out recovered stride, battled on between rivals, surged late nailed wire. TRICKS R FOR JUBA broke a step slow, rushed up vied inside around the turn, under pressure from outside foes through the final sixteenth, gave in grudgingly through the wire. THE BIG LEP broke sharp, pressed hard three wide around the bend, between runners late, flattened out through the final stages. NOBLE RULING hustled up out of the chute, heavy ask four wide leaving the quarter pole, had no late punch. IRISH JUBALEE broke sharp, vied between around the turn, no match for rivals leaving the furlong marker, faded through the stretch. IFTHEDEVILDANCED clean start, roused off the pace around the turn, weakened through the stretch.
