Chart notes
STANFORD DROPOUT stepped to the front, led under pressure to the turn, cleared around the bend, led three wide into the lane and held safely under urging. CHASE N RYAN pressed from outside, chased three then four wide on the turn and bested the rest. SMOKEM AND LOVE chased three then two wide around the bend and got outkicked for second. MR. PIPPINS chased along the inside, got put in tight briefly at the seven-sixteenths pole, moved into the two path, kept trying down the lane but failed ot produce a bid. CIELITOS WISH drifted in early, raced up close inside the leader to the turn, lost touch with the frontrunner past the three-eighths pole and could not summon the needed rally in the furlong grounds. ONE HAPPY DUDE got crowded between rivals early, chased four wide into the turn, moved into the three path, steered back out and came five wide into the but weakened in the drive. BLAZING HEAT got crowded chasing between rivals at the half-mile pole, took the turn two wide and faded down the lane. KID KAYAK was off a bit slow in the beginning, trailed up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend, had one rival beat turning for home and could not make an impact. DARTH GRAYDAR tracked off the rail, climbed three, four, then five wide on the turn and was not a factor. THE GREAT G raced near the back five wide into the turn, steered to the three path around the bend, angled out in upper stretch and weakened.
