Chart notes

FORDY G broke alertly and dueled outside of CLASSIC CINEMA, edged away from that one then was confronted by the runnerup leaving the quarter pole but dug in determinedly to prevail. MISTER MIDAS chased the leaders for three furlongs then pushed up to try to challenge the winner but was held off in the drive while an easy second. TIZ GRAZEN lugged out badly to the six path on the first turn then was corrected, bid three wide nearing the furlong marker and while not threatening the top two, got up for the show. CLASSIC CINEMA hopped slightly to begin then was hustled to contest the pace inside the winner, dueled to the quarter pole then got outkicked and weakened. MACCHIATO D'ORO had no speed and was not a threat. SMOKENSILVER got outsprinted to the backstretch then was two wide and came up empty.
