Chart notes
PHAROAHS LIST brushed with ROMAN RUSH early, dueled that one to the backstretch, drifted in and bumped that one at the quarter pole then responded, edged clear and held driving. FANTASTIC DAY broke awkwardly and trailed to the quarter pole, circled rivals four wide to the stretch and made a late run to get the place. ROMAN RUSH brushed the winner early, dueled inside that on the backstretch, was crowded by PHAROAHS LIST and took up at the quarter pole then got outrun to the stretch and weakened. DRAW THE FOUL tracked the pace to the second turn, was two wide to the stretch and lacked a closing response. MISS DYNAMIC chased the pace three wide but weakened after a half mile. PIRATE RED had no speed and was not a factor. The jockey on ROMAN RUSH lodged an objection against the jockey on the PHAROAHS LIST for alleged interference on the backstretch but the objection was not allowed by the stewards.
