Chart notes
TINA TURNER was off slow to begin, stalked five deep early, three deep into the stretch, challenged from outside in the lane, dug in three deep the last sixteenth and edged inner rivals. SEXY BLUE sped clear and showed the way up the backstretch, led two wide then along the rail around the bend, met the challenge from TINA TURNER in the lane, fought between late and yielded grudgingly. TIMEKEEPER'S CHARM brushed leaving the gate, raced up close on the inside, waited behind a rival around the bend, launched a rail bid in upper stretch, fought inside the top pair through the final furlong and lacked the needed late kick. KNEAD THE DOUGH stalked three deep early, took aim two wide into the lane and weakened. PENNY WORTH brushed with inner rival at the start, stalked between rivals, got crowded entering the turn, went two wide into the lane, angled out in the drive and flattened. LUCK HAPPENS raced up close in the four path into the turn, angled to the two path, tipped three wide leaving the bend and weakened. NORTH LAKE lagged behind early, saved ground around the bend and was never a factor.
