Chart notes
UNCLE LEON never far back, bid two wide then eased out for room, responded and closed fast to be up in time. MATTAWA N THAT attended the pace, came three wide to the stretch, edged away then could not stall the winner. WITHEE saved ground early, bid three wide to the stretch then came on to get the show. PULPITS POWER was also on the pace, saved ground to the stretch but weakened in the drive. HEY BATMAN had no speed, trailed while saving ground then picked off rivals. BEER BEGONE was outrun for a half, got fanned five wide to the stretch and finished well. HAKUNUI tracked the pace, was in tight on the second turn then had a mild late bid. MISSED CALL had no speed, circled rivals six wide to the stretch and finished evenly. TOO TALL TO CALL hustled to duel for the lead for a half mile then gave way.
