HOOKED ON DREAMS broke sharp, cleared and crossed over and set the pace, took on the challenge from MR SWEETS mid-way around the turn, vied past the quarter pole, shook free to a slim lead at the head of the lane, had more left in reserve, widened advantage under pressure and kept to task. MR. SWEETS was forwardly placed up the backstretch, made a move mid-way around the turn, vied outside of HOOKED ON DREAMS going by the quarter pole, could not maintain equal terms at the head of the lane but ran on and held second best. KISSED A CADET settled off the early pace saving ground, cut the corner and given cue along the rail at the head of the lane, shifted out past the furlong marker, sustained a steady three wide bid and prevailed for a share. HAYAHLOOKATME tracked the top trio in the opening quarter, hustled along three wide around the turn, ran on four paths wide through the stretch but lacked the needed response for serious impact. HEY raced up close up the backstretch, flattened mid-way around the turn and continued to tire through the lane.
