Chart notes
DRAGOON GUARD vied for the lead with an outer rival, forged an advantage approaching the eleven sixteenths pole, drew clear turning for home and inched further away under a drive. BENDOOG laid off of the pace near the inside, took closer order leaving the five furlong pole, tracked into the far turn, progressed to claim place from an outer rival in upper stretch and chased the clear leader home to prove second best. HONOR MARIE trailed in the three path while under consistent coaxing into the backstretch, fanned out to the five path while building momentum into the lane, ran on willingly to duel for show with an inner rival through the final furlong and prevailed. BEST ACTOR tracked in the three path, pursued further off of the pace in the two path around the far turn, stayed on to duel for show with an outer rival through the final furlong but was bested. SPEED BIAS stalked in the two path, chased from the four path around the far turn and tired between horses. NOTARY vied two wide and outside of the eventual winner, pressed that one down the backstretch, chased turning for home, drifted out in upper stretch and weakened.
