Chart notes
HERE'S WALDO was allowed to settle early and was two to three wide on the first turn, moved to the inside and saved ground on the far turn, advanced nearing the quarter pole, and angled out leaving the three sixteenths marker and made a bid and edged clear late to prove best under a drive. GANGLY was bumped at the break, then set the slow pace on the inside and shook clear nearing the quarter pole and dug in leaving the furlong marker and dueled with the winner by the sixteenth marker but was edged late and had to settle for second best. MAKABIM was rated along two to three wide and came four wide into the lane to make a bid, then angled in leaving the furlong marker but flattened out. BIG BEEMSTER bumped with a foe at the break, prompted the pace two wide and came three wide into the lane and weakened in the lane. YES POINT was settled back early, two wide into the lane and had no rally. THE GATEKEEPER was unruly in the post parade, chased the pace on the inside for a half a mile, moved out to be two to three wide on the far turn and tired. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the start, after reviewing the replays the STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED the number five HERE'S WALDO from first and placed fourth.
