WINE PARTY reserved off the leaders tracking them down the backside, angled four wide on the far turn to rally to the lead in upper stretch and finished well repelling the repeated bids of the stubborn runner-up. SMART PHILLY broke through the gate pre-race, was examined, reloaded, broke sharp, settled to stalk down the backside, rallied on the turn to take a short lead nearing the quarter pole, battled with the winner through the lane and gave way to the winner stubbornly in a game effort. CAPARBIA unhurried to be the trailer in a compact field to the far turn, rallied with a steady gain coming home passing tiring rivals. BABY ME GOOD was restless in the gate, broke well when the latch was sprung, sped up the inside to take the lead into the first turn, set the pace on a clear lead for the first half, had no answer when engaged midway on the fat turn and tired coming home. MISSUS SEKI stalked into the first turn, made an early move down the backside from the fence to be prominent and flattened out coming up empty entering the far turn.
