Chart notes
SHIVAREE broke in front, set all the pace while nicely rated and drew off in the late stages under strong handling. ANDY CANT pressed the pace two wide and held on for second in the four path. SAILOR'S CHANCE angled in from the six path to the rail entering the clubhouse turn, checked at the six furlong marker, stalked the pace and finished evenly inside rivals. DREAM KNIGHT with the second flight two wide, shifted four wide in upper stretch and finished determinedly. STAR SHOPPING was antsy in the gate, hopped at the start, was shut off while along the rail at the seven eighths pole causing his rider to check hard and shift outward over the heels of SAILOR'S CHANCE, moved closer before a half mile between horses then came up empty. OILER raced outside and was through after a half. THE RIDER OF STAR SHOPPING LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF SAILOR'S CHANCE FOR INTERFERENCE ON THE CLUBHOUSE TURN. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED SAILOR'S CHANCE AND PLACED HIM FIFTH.
