KISS THEM DEADLY was away alertly and soon clear, then was pressured from the outside and inside by the seven sixteenths while in the two path, then dueled for command by the five sixteenths to the inside of FACTOR U AND ME IN came three off the bend and continued that duel and edged clear nearing the sixteenth marker to prove best under a drive. FACTOR U AND ME IN pressed the pace from the outside and made a three wide bid to duel with the winner three wide and came four wide off the bend but was out-kicked in the final furlong. KANTKNOWITALL was ridden along early to press the issue from the inside, fell back on the turn and moved off the rail, came five wide off the bend and moved farther out in the lane and faded.
