Chart notes
PRINCESS OPAL trailed through the clubhouse turn while hung four wide, advanced steadily, circled her field three wide to make the lead in mid stretch and drew off under right handed urging. SHADY NIGHTS stalked the early pace, split horses two wide at the seven sixteenths pole to gain a narrow lead, lost the advantage nearing the top of the stretch then was no match for the winner while clearly second best. ESTRELLA DE MAR set a slow pace long the inside for four and one half furlongs, gave up a narrow lead, regained the advantage before the quarter pole, set the pace into the stretch and gave way late. A THOUSAND PRAYERS was no factor. MISS LITTLE BIT stalked the early pace along the inside and was through after a half. FEISTY MAMA pressed the early pace two then three wide, stopped on the far bend and jogged to the wire.
