Chart notes
ESCALATION CLAUSE raced at the rear along the inside, tipped out around the turn, progressed four deep turning for home, rallied to bid at the furlong grounds, leaned inwardly while forging an advantage at the sixteenth pole and kicked clear. BAYTOWN BRUISER vied two wide, led turning for home, maintained an advantage through midstretch, but was caught at the sixteenth pole and was second best. MEGA MAGIC stalked three wide, held aim outside of the leader turning for home, but chased while hanging on his left lead in upper stretch got outkicked for place at the furlong grounds then held show. FIELDING tracked along the inside, chased in the two to three path into the lane, tipped wider in midstretch and stayed on mildly to be miss show. THE WARDEN pursued from midpack two wide and between horses, chased along the inside in upper stretch and lacked a bid. NUDGE vied along the inside, but weakened turning for home, caved in upper stretch and was eased thereafter. EXPRESS LINE was subtly put to tight quarters between horses soon after the start, raced off of the pace in the five to four path and was through early.
