Chart notes
FREAKY NEEKS assumed early command, set a contested pace into the turn, shook free into upper stretch then kicked clear nearing the furlong grounds, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held safely for the win at the finish. PAX MUNDI attended to the modest early pace while outside of FREAKY NEEKS, was turned away by that rival into upper stretch, chased into the final furlong, could not make headway on the winner in the late stages and was clear for second. BULL BY THE HORNS was forwardly placed while between runners in the early stages, shuffled back into the turn, swung four wide for the stretch drive, needed more in the final furlong but stayed on into deep stretch and was well clear for third. HAMDOUN stalked three wide to the turn, was outkicked to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. GIGLINE broke out at the start and was off slowly, rushed up and tracked the early pace from the inside, was outkicked to the quarter pole then faded in the stretch drive. CHIMUELO allowed to settle, trailed into the turn and did not make a late bid.
