Chart notes
LOVELY CHARM prompted the pace two wide into the backstretch then moved up to engage ESTOCADA from her outside, vied then cruised clear into the far turn, widened the advantage under confident handling leaving the three eighths, shifted in close to the inner rail entering the lane, responded to strong handling through the final furlong and kept NAVANI at bay. NAVANI was deftly maneuvered towards the inner rail heading to the seven eighths, rated kindly off of contested pace, edged up into the far turn, continued progress past the five sixteenths, eased out to have aim leaving the three sixteenths, continued on gamely but had to settle for second. I CAN RUN , away awkwardly, regrouped and rated two wide early, saved ground leaving the three eighths, remained inside for the drive and kept on with effort. HAINT BLUE lagged back while saving ground, angled out leaving the far turn, raced three wide into the lane but failed to generate a serious run. ATLAS STRONG , off the pace while four wide, was under a hustling ride leaving the far turn, circled five wide with a mild advance into the stretch, failed to sustain leaving mid stretch and faded. ESTOCADA cleared early, set the pace towards the inside, was hounded by the winner leaving the three quarter pole, ceded command heading to the half, gave chase under a ride past the three eighths then faltered in upper stretch. GOLDEN SWORD stalked the pace three wide, lacked a response exiting the far turn and faltered.
