Chart notes
RYE SMILE was pinched back at the start and trailed the field to the turn then moved up from two wide to near the quarter pole before tipping in to slip up the rail to take the lead and drew clear to prove best. STERLING CLASS pressed the pace from two wide to near the quarter pole and took a brief lead but was collared quickly, fought gamely down the stretch to save the place. SERENE WATERS chased the leaders from three wide around the turn then moved to engage them near the three sixteenths pole and battled with STERLING CLASS to near the wire but was outkicked for the place. STORMY CUT stalked the pace from four wide throughout while giving an even effort. RABBLE raced near the back and was not a threat. POINT OF REFUGE sped away to a pressured lead to the quarter pole and stopped. This race was originally hand-timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time available.
