Chart notes
KHOZAN'S VALENTINE stalked the pace along the inside, couldn't get through along the rail, angled out on the turn, bid five wide, closed steadily and wore down his rivals to get up in the final strides. ARGYBARGY BUCK pressed the pace, challenged two across on the turn, inched clear, led to the final strides and was outfinished in a good effort. HOLCOMBE trailed the field, offered a mild bid inside and got up for show while no threat to the top two. IRISH DECLARATION was last away from the gate, raced close to the pace, went six wide leaving the turn, had nothing left for the drive and faded. RACE DRIVER set the pace to the second turn, fought back when headed and faltered near the eighth pole. SMILE LIKE KYLE advanced outside on the backstretch to race in close, tired on the turn, gave way and was not urged late.
