Chart notes
GHOST OF MIDNIGHT followed in range outside a rival three wide into the turn, moved out to the four path approaching the quarter pole, got brushed and moved to the five path by CODE DUELLO coming into the stretch, rallied outside the top trio and surged clear in the last sixteenth. BERLIN WALL pressed the pacesetter from outside, vied between rivals on the turn, held a narrow advantage into the final furlong and got outkicked by the winner in deep stretch. LAWLESS WORLD showed the way early from inside under pressure, inched ahead early on the turn, vied between rivals late on the bend, lost command outside the eighth pole, stayed on into deep stretch and got outkicked by the top pair. GRUBAUER stalked off the rail in the early going, bid three deep around the bend and flattened out late. MIRACLE MARK stalked up close on the inside, came under coaxing but lacked room behind the leader and no room to the outside, stayed on the inside to the lane, steered out in upper stretch and finished evenly late. CODE DUELLO tracked off the rail, went two wide into the turn, raced three wide at the quarter pole, angled out and brushed the winner entering the lane and weakened. THE FIVE-EIGHTHS FRACTION WAS HAND-TIMED.
