Chart notes
WAKUDA was stalking the pace while inside early then rallied and was three wide turning for home, was in a steady drive and wore down the leader in the final strides in heart breaking fashion. HARVEY'S FINNISH set the pace while being well handled, drew off in upper stretch but could not last in late stretch. SWEET D was unhurried early then made a mild rally while two wide in the stretch but was no threat. MERRY MARY LOU chased the early pace while two wide into the turn, made a bid but faltered in the drive. DOC'S LUCKY LADY chased the early pace while three wide into the turn, was making a bud then gave way in the stretch. CANDY THIEF was saving ground on the turn then failed to menace. DIALING FOR DOUGH trailed throughout.
