Chart notes
BURNING LEAVES tracked the leaders saving ground in a clear pocket for three-quarters, tipped out three wide turning for home, split rivals in mid-stretch and was up in time with a late surge. MIDNIGHT AMBITION stalked the clear leaders to midway on the far turn, rallied at the quarter pole to engage the pacesetter, battled in upper stretch taking the lead at the eighth pole and was outfinished in deep stretch. SAMARITANO was unhurried for the first half mile to be at the back of a strung out field, cirlced on the final bend and finished with good late interest to be gaining. VAN was well placed in contention to the head of the lane and finished evenly lacking a clsoing kick. GREY CHARMER passed tiring rivals. GROWTH CAPITAL sped to a clear lead on the first turn, lengthened the advantage down the backside, held the lead to the top of the lane and weakened coming home. RAPPER ZAPPER was not a threat. KANT BEAT THE ROCK chased the leaders from six wide down the backstretch and faded in the final quarter.
