Chart notes
MARKHAMIAN was hustled to a narrow advantage before a quarter mile, set all the pace, widened into the stretch and maintained his advantage under right handed urging. DON'T CROSS JACK close up, four then three wide, rallied into the stretch and finished clear for second under mild left handed urging. VINCENZINO trailed into the stretch, rallied late four wide and got up for third. CAPTURE MI pressed the pace two wide into the stretch, drifted inward from the three path to the rail under right handed urging then was outfinished. FAT DADDY allowed to settle, began to clos along the rail in upper stretch, was shut off just before the furlong marker causing his rider to check hard then lost momentum. CHARGER stalked pace the pace three wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. MAJESTIC FLAG had speed five wide down the backstretch and weakened on the turn. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND AFTER REVIEW DISQUALIFIED CAPTURE MI FOR INTERFERENCE WITH FAT DADDY IN MID STRETCH AND PLACED HIM FIFTH.
