Chart notes
MCCULLOUGH rated in mid-pack to the turn, commenced a steady rally midway on the bend and closed well in the lane to be up in the final stride. CALVIN'S RIDE set a pressured pace throughout, kicked away from the presser turning for home, was engaged by the winner inside the eighth pole, battled to the wire and lost the bob. HE'S A MESS unhurried for the first half mile to be near the back of the field, rallied appraoching the quarter pole and closed well with a belated bid. EXTRASEXYBIGDADDEE trailed to midway on the final turn, angled wide for the drive and was gaining late. HEAVY POUR was well place along the inside just off the pacesetters, was held up from the half mile pole to the three-eighths lacking racing room and kept off heels, angled to the clear on the far turn and lacked a clsoing response. ALEMAN failed to menace. WOW WHATA PARTY raced in contention from five wide and faded in the lane. IMPACTO pressed the pace to midway on the turn and gave way.
