Chart notes
TANGANYIKA void of speed after the start, produced a bold rally in the stretch and was up in plenty of time. SEVEN EMMYS was in the inside horse in a three-way pace duel, went clear of the rest and opened up near the quarter pole, but was overtaken by the winner in the final yards. OUR AMERICAN GIRL was last early, saved ground through the turn, ran on some late, altered course to the three path in mid-stretch, and gained third. COTE FLEURIE contested the early pace from between horses, then dropped out at the half-mile pole, lost position but kept to task along the rail, to the wire under steady urging. BETTER HAVE CASH broke on top but outward, carrying BIRDIEJUICE wide, dropped back after the start, chased into the turn, loomed at the top of the stretch, but was unable to sustain the move. BIRDIEJUICE was forced outward after the start, then raced close up to the pace five-wide, moved to challenge for the lead after passing the three-furlong pole, bid three-wide at the top of the stretch, but flattened out and tired. SHE'S GOTTA GO was three-deep in the early pace battle, held position to the quarter pole, then tired in the stretch.
