Chart notes
EASY PASS broke sharp, sprinted clear leaving the first turn, solo lead around the second bend, drifted way wide through the lane, straitened up under strong urging, held safe through the wire. ENTICE ME away in good order, upped the tempo chased the leader two wide around the far turn, unable to catch the drifting winner, chased on willingly to secure the place award. CANDY MAN MARTIN settled into stride off the topflight three wide into the far turn, just off the rail through the final sixteenth, rallied late for the show. FIBER PROOF rated off the pace along the rail into the far turn, rail bid into the lane, could not switch leads through the final stages, flattened out to the wire. CANDY MAN CAN saved ground off the pace, tipped out three wide into the lane, had no late kick. MEXICALI MIKE in tight off heels around the first turn, lacked recovery speed down the backside, came up empty late. TAP THE ARCHES slow into stride, roused off pace four deep into the far turn, never factored through the stretch.
