Chart notes
SENSIBLE MARRIAGE tracked the leaders through the turn, rallied at the head of the stretch, angled to the inside for clear racing and prevailed in a determined drive. TRIPLE SECRET settled on the outside of the pack six wide down the backside, narrowed the margin on the turn and rallied with a steady gain to be up for the place. MARKET ORDER prompted the pace to midway on the turn, rallied to engage the pacesetter at the quarter pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and was outfinished late in the lane. DOWN IN THE BAYOU unhurried to be the early trailer, angled wide at the top of the lane and mounted a belated bid to be gaining late. KATHLYNS PHALANX raced mid-pack while caught five wide and mounted a mild non-impactful rally down the lane. GROSSE ILE set the pace on a clear early lead, came under pressure on the turn, dug-in turning for home and tired in the final furlong. TOVIA raced in contention into the turn, failed to respond when called upon and faded. RIO DEL ARMOUR trailed on the turn and was eased in the lane when hopelessly out of contention and walked off.
