Chart notes
SERENDIPITOUS saved ground through the turn, shifted out two wide in upper stretch, rallied determinedly under left handed urging and was along in time. BISCUITS AND GRITS trailed into the turn, rallied late five wide and finished second best. EL MARRO away alertly, set the pace into the stretch, shook clear before the furlong marker then was outfinished in the final yards. SHOW SLIDING HOME unhurried early, found his best stride late while two wide. PECKS NOT BAD vied for the lead thee wide and lacked the needed response. OVERLOAD failed to menace. MIDNIGHT VOYAGE pressed the pace four then two wide into the stretch then faltered.
