STRADIVARIAN unhurried away from the start, saved ground up the backstretch and advanced along the rail into the far turn, loomed into upper stretch then tipped out nearing the furlong marker, mounted a strong rally to take command into the final sixteenth and drew away late under firm hand urging. TURF CAT showed speed away from the start, engaged with ONE DESTINATION and dueled that rival through decent fractions into the backstretch, shook free into the far turn then led to upper stretch, showed the way to the furlong marker, was overtaken by the winner nearing the final sixteenth, could not match strides with the winner into deep stretch and held well for second. SPUNS SON allowed to settle early on, saved ground along the backstretch then into the far turn, angled out at the quarter marker and bid four wide to mid-stretch, was outkicked by the winner in the final sixteenth and just missed for second. ONE DESTINATION showed good early speed, contested the pace inside of TURF CAT into the backstretch, dueled that rival to the far turn then lost position nearing the quarter marker, was outkicked to mid-stretch and gave way in the drive. STARSHIP D'ORO forwardly placed early on, tracked the decent pace three wide up the backstretch, chased within range to upper stretch, was outkicked at the furlong marker then weakened in the final sixteenth. CHANCES TAKEN settled outside of rivals into the first turn, tracked the decent pace four wide to the half-mile point, chased two wide to the quarter marker, was coaxed along into upper stretch, shifted out through the final furlong and did not offer the needed late response. FORE FLAG settled outside of rivals into the first turn, tracked three then four wide up the backstretch, ran in pursuit to the quarter marker, chased five wide to upper stretch and flattened out in the lane. AMBUSHED took back off of the early pace, was unhurried up the backstretch, trailed to the quarter marker and did not factor in the stretch drive. LYTE CRUDE was forwardly placed in the early running, tracked the pace two wide up the backstretch, shifted out and chased four wide into the far turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and tired in the drive.
