Chart notes
FREEDOM STANCE prompted the pace in the four path, was driven in the three path around the far turn, chased on in the five path down the lane, inherited the lead from a fallen foe around the sixteenth, and was clear. MAX'S GLORY rated in the three path, was driven around the far turn, fanned out to the six path at the top of the lane, and kept on. HEGS stalked in the five path, was coaxed along in the four path around the far turn, and was one paced from the five path down the lane. UPTOWN TAPPIN tracked inside, lost ground under a drive from the rail around the far turn, made no closing bid from the three path down the stretch, and had to steady around the sixteenth. ASPIRING COMEDIAN trailed in the two path, steadied and lost the rider while trying to avoid a fallen foe passing the sixteenth pole, was caught shortly after, and walked off. SILENT ROAR chased in the four path, was ridden in the two path around the far turn, appeared to be staying on down the lane, but lost the rider while trying to avoid a fallen foe around the sixteenth, then was caught shortly after the race and walked off. CARDINALE showed the way in the three path turning up the backstretch, waited confidently in the two path around the far turn before receiving a right handed cue passing the quarter, drew away in upper stretch, but appeared to sustain and injury and fell around the sixteenth pole, then was transported off of the track in an equine ambulance. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER THE STEWARDS HELD AN INQUIRY TO LOOK AT THE STRETCH RUN.
