Chart notes
SLEWING raced off the pace around the first turn, steered out into the four path quickened the pace nearing the quarter pole, three wide pursuit into the lane, wore down inside rival through the final sixteenth, under strong handling. MAMA MARGE broke alertly, set a swift solo pace into the far turn, clear leaving the quarter pole, turned for home on an uncontested lead, never able to switch leads along the rail through the final sixteenth, gave in grudgingly under the wire. GHOST OF ALCINA saved ground off the pace, stymied in traffic had momentum stopped leaving the quarter pole, dug in re-rallied through the lane, went clear for the show money. BULL'S LEGACY raced off the pace three wide down the back stretch, circled off the pace four deep into the lane, had no late punch. TRUE INDY tracked the pace around the first turn, pressed four wide into the second bend, rail pursuit upper, came up empty late. SMOKIN LADY bobbled start, two wide pursuit into the far turn, herded leaving the quarter pole, gave way through the lane. THERE WAS A JOCKEY'S OBJECTION IN THIS RACE, THE RIDER OF SMOKIN LADY CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDERS OF TRUE INDY AND BULL'S LEGACY FOR INTEREFERENCE AROUND THE FAR TURN, AFTER REVIEW THE RESULT STOOD OFFICIAL NO CHANGE.
