Chart notes
CHASING THE STORM was well placed along the inside tracking the leaders to the far turn, waited along the fence on the bend, cut the corner turning for home, squeezed through on the rail to take the lead in mid-stretch and drew clear in a well handled ride. SUTTON SUZIE stalked the pace from three wide racing in tandem with the winner to the far turn, circled the pacesetter four wide to challenge in upper stretch and finished well as second best. HALFIN raced mid-pack saving ground, angled out for the drive and mounted a late bid to be along for the show. SUNSHINE DAYDREAM pressed the pace to the final turn, took the lead on the bend to be in front turning for home and weakened in the final furlong. LEAD THE WAY was unhurried racing near the rear of the field and made a steady advance in the lane without impact. SILENT RAINDROPS set a pressured pace to midway on the far turn, ran-on prominently in upper stretch and gave way late. ATHENA'S SECRET rated in mid-field to the far turn, circled seven wide with a bid on the bend and flattened out. CLEARLY INISH hopped at the start to trail and was never a factor.
