NORTHERN FORCE was two to three wide into the opening turn, chased five wide in the backstretch, swept the lead entering the final turn, and held under a drive. SILENT COUNT brushed leaving, trailed the field entering the backstretch, advanced quickly outside entering the far turn, rallied five wide, but was unable to get by late. SUDDENLY FAMOUS sat in striking distance, prompted action leaving the backstretch, and lacked the closing response that was needed. JUMP THE QUEUE stalked the pace, and lacked a kick that was needed. INDEPENDENCE NEIGH brushed rival leaving, contended the pace inside of H K RAPPER, and was through early. H K RAPPER set a pressured pace, disposed of rival and stopped in the stretch.
