Chart notes
TREE C'S KAI sent for the early lead, assumed command and set the pace into the turn, led to the quarter marker then kicked clear at mid-stretch, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held safely late over the oncoming runner-up. BOTTOMLESS MIMOSA tracked the early pace from the outside, chased the pace three wide nearing the quarter marker, responded into the stretch and was gaining late, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and bested the rest. TABOO MISCHIEF vied for the early lead from between runners, stalked the pace two wide into the turn then chased into the stretch, was outkicked in the final furlong and held clearly for third. MOTOWN DIVA a step slow leaving the start, tracked the early pace while saving ground, was well placed into the turn, chased within range to upper stretch, could not find the needed late response and flattened out. ONCE UPON A TIME off slow leaving the start, settled off of the early pace while never far back, waited for racing room nearing the top of the stretch, found room nearing the furlong marker while three to four wide and could not muster the needed late response. HOLA HERMOSA off slow and green in the early stages, lacked early speed, asked for run four wide to upper stretch, did not factor in the late stages. SCREEN allowed to settle early, trailed to the quarter marker and did not threaten in the stretch drive.
