Chart notes
ZOMBO BOMBO pressed between rivals up the backstretch, hounded the leader through the turn, put a head in front between runners at the eighth pole, dueled inside MYSTIC FLYER late and gamely prevailed. MYSTIC FLYER pressed three deep to upper stretch, dueled outside ZOMBO BOMBO in the last sixteenth, fought gamely to the wire but could not get by the winner. CUPID'S CRUSADER stalked the top quartet two wide into the turn, bided his time while finding the rail on the turn, steered out from behind the leading trio in upper stretch and finished gamely for third. INVINCIBLE brushed with inner rival at the start, showed the way inside a trio of rivals to the turn, maintained a short lead over outer pair under urging to upper stretch, relinquished the lead at the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. JARAMA trailed from off the rail under coaxing, drew closer two to three wide on the turn but flattened out in the furlong grounds. NAVY MAN attended the pace four deep, failed to keep up with the leaders and chased four wide around the bend and weakened in the drive. SEATTLE BREAKOUT brushed leaving the gate, chased from inside into the turn, drifted while dropping back around the bend, went three to four wide into the lane and had little left for the stretch run.
