Chart notes
SMOOTH N SILKY stalked the pace three deep and finished well to edge up under strong handling. EL PELIGRO showed good early foot, dug in gamely and held the place position. AFTER MY BROTHER chased inside, checked near the three eighths pole, angled out through the stretch drive and moved up to improve position. PONTUS settled early on, raced four wide through the far turn and needed more in the drive. I'M YOUR CAPTAIN dropped back early, raced three wide between near the quarter pole and had no response. CENZONTLE chased the early leader along the inside and faded. BAD OBSESSION dropped back, lost ground to race far back and never threatened.
