Chart notes
RIVER TAY (IRE) was bumped at the start, raced off the pace inside, advanced near the inside on the turn, split rivals at the quarter pole, rallied three wide in the stretch run, closed willingly outside in the final sixteenth and edged away. MARIANO tracked on the inside, saved ground on the far turn, moved up entering the stretch, lacked a clear path in upper stretch, angled back to the rail, rallied on the rail in the final sixteenth and finished well for second. PRETTY THING (IRE) vied outside for the early lead, then cleared off to set the pace on the inside, dueled in upper stretch, dug in gamely between rivals and yielded. TOTAL BLISS raced off the rail, off the pace, moved up entering the stretch and rallied mildly late outside. DAME CATHERINE vied inside in the early stages, then pulled and was steadied back entering the first turn, tracked the pacesetter, chased two wide on the far turn, bid between rivals in upper stretch, was in tight and steadied at the eighth pole, then weakened. HEAVENS EXPRESS was bumped at the start and pinched back, then outrun early and closed belatedly inside. JOY AND PROSPERITY raced three wide off the pace, four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the lane and tired. SPECIAL AFFAIR raced three wide early, settled off the pace between rivals, chased three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and tired. DELIGHTFUL AVA stalked two wide, then three wide, chased and faded.
