LATER THAN PLANNED (IRE) chased out of range in the early going, raced along the rail then two wide on the turn, steered out in upper stretch, closed well and got up while bumping with BACIO near the wire. BACIO chased three deep then moved up to take over leaving the backstretch, drew clear midway around the bend, led into deep stretch and got run down while bumping with the winner near the wire. TWILIGHT DELIGHT raced up close on the inside, suffered a mild shuffle on the turn, tipped two wide into the lane, finished determinedly while angling inside BACIO late and earned the show honors. VENTRY STRAND unhurried in the early going, trailed on the inside around the bend, moved off the rail in upper stretch, ran into a bit of traffic in the lane and finished well to round out the superfecta. QUEEN BAY broke in and brushed, settled off the pace and steered to the inside, brushed with BOURBON AND GINGER past the five-sixteenths pole, remained on the fence to the stretch, moved out a bit with a furlong remaining and advanced between runners late. BOURBON AND GINGER laid off the pace in the early going, brushed with QUEEN BAY midway around the turn, tipped out into the lane and improved position. DIRTY RICH brushed by QUEEN BAY leaving the gate, chased between rivals in the two path to the stretch and weakened down the lane. ARKADELPHIA was a bit fractious in the gate, broke alertly to clear the field and crossed over to the inside, lost command leaving the backstretch, could not keep up with BACIO at the five-sixteenths pole, chased along the rail into the lane and weakened. THIRSTY REBEL chased three deep to the lane, followed in range into the final furlong and weakened. BRIGANTE angled to the inside traveling near the back of the pack, tipped to the two path on the turn, lacked room at the quarter pole and failed to rally once in the clear. A. P. AGAIN had his head turned when the gates opened and spotted the field a few lengths, trailed early then passed a rival at the half-mile pole, entered the turn in the two path, came four wide into the stretch and could not make an impact. SENDIT MO raced in range four deep to the turn, dropped back around the bend and tired in the lane.
