Chart notes
MISTER MIDAS was always close up, bid to the front then drifted inward leaving the quarter pole, crowded CLASSIC CINEMA, pushed away and held driving. ICE TOWER broke out, tracked the pace then bid three wide to the stretch and was second best. FORD FLYER had no speed, advanced at the quarter pole then was two wide and closed steadily late. CLASSIC CINEMA came in slightly to bump a foe early, made a bid inside but was crowded and cut off, steadied at the three sixteenths and came up empty. SHERRYS BABY was four wide to the backstretch, bid two wide at the furlong marker but was never a threat. LIVE A GOOD LIFE got outsprinted and did not rally. SMOKENSILVER was bumped in the early stages, tracked for three furlongs while four wide and weakened. BEING A BOSS had a wide trip throughout and was not a factor. ATTA BOY LLOYD had early speed then was crowded and bumped into the firs turn and gave way after three furlongs. An objection by the rider on #4 ATTA BOY LLOYD against #8 CLASSIC CINEMA was not allowed by the stewards. A claim of foul by the rider on #8 CLASSIC CINEMA against the winner #9 MISTER MIDAS resulted in MISTER MIDAS being disqualified and placed fourth.
