Chart notes
GIN GIN set the pace along the inside, met an outer challenge from NITROGEN around the far turn, sparred with that one into the lane, battled gamely through the final furlong and clung to an advantage late. NITROGEN broke a beat slow while last away of the short field, stalked three wide and outside of the top pair, ranged up to bid at the three furlong pole, dueled with only an inner GIN GIN into the lane, battled neck and neck through midstretch, but drifted out in the final furlong, hung and missed at the wire. SCYLLA bobbled at the start, tracked along the inside, pursued the top pair from the three path in upper stretch and chased willingly. THORPEDO ANNA pressed two wide and between horses, got outmoved by her outer counterpart while coming under urging at the three furlong pole, but lacked a response and faded. CHILLED trailed along the inside, shifted out to the five to six path into the lane but got outrun. HEAD ON REPLAY UNAVAILABLE.
