Chart notes
DREAMING OF HOPE broke inward, had a slim lead on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch drew off. GIVE ME THE BOOTS was bumped at the start and dueled on the turn but from the five path at the top of the stretch was no match for the winner. LINDA'S OPAL was bumped at the start, trailed field on the turn and from the seven path at the top of the stretch rallied late. FANNY M was away alertly but lost ground on the turn and had no impact. GETTING AHEAD was hustled early but chased on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch had nothing left. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDERS ON LINDA'S OPAL AND GIVE ME THE BOOTS AGAINST DREAMING OF HOPE FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE START AND A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START RESULTED IN DREAMING OF HOPE BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED THIRD.
