Chart notes
DOCTOR ABBIE far behind early, advanced into the stretch then closed with a rush to get up in time. AOIFE'S MAGIC pursued the loose pacesetter, caught that rival, led late but was nailed in a game showing. DEWEY DOIT moved close up outside and continued willingly to the finish. CENTRE COURT CHAMP sprinted clear initial half mile, weakened in the final furlong then returned bleeding from the nostrils. MARY Q trailed far behind then showed good late energy along the rail. COCOA'S VIVIAN bid closer inside on the turn then faltered. OUR UPTOWN GIRL chased three wide and began fading on the turn.
