Chart notes
A VAN ON THE RUN never far back, closed willingly five wide through the turn and into the stretch, made the lead at the furlong marker and finished full of run to win going away while under confident handling. SGT YORK stalked the pace four wide and finished clear for second. OL' NELSON away alertly, set the pace into the stretch, drifted in under right handed urging just before the furlong marker causing BIGPICLITTLEPIC to clip heels then weakened late. BIGPICLITTLEPIC saved ground, offered a strong bid in upper stretch, was shut off by the leader nearing the furlong marker, clipped heels, stumbled and lost momentum. AFLOAT chased the pace between horses into the stretch then weakened. GRAY TORMENTOR was no factor. MUSIC JEWEL had speed three wide down the backstretch and weakened on the turn. MOR STORMY stumbled unseating his rider at the start. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF BIGPICLITTLEPIC LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF OL' NELSON FOR INTERFERENCE IN MID STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED OL' NELSON AND PLACED HIM FOURTH.
