Chart notes
GOLDEN BUCK showed the way in the two path entering the backstretch, came under a ride entering the far turn, bumped with an inner foe around the quarter, faced challenges on both sides at the top of the lane, but dug in gamely to hold on. HEARTBREAK GAME tracked inside, bid along the rail around the far turn, bumped with an outer foe passing the quarter, ran on to sustain that bid into the final furlong, but could not get past the stubborn outer pace setter. PETE'S LEGACY steadied and bumped with an outer foe early around the first turn, laid up close in the three path, was ridden around the far turn, bid passing the quarter, and kept on down the lane before evening out in the final sixteenth. DAPPER DUDE had an awkward start, rated in the three path, was driven in the two path around the far turn, but made no impact from the four path down the stretch. STOLICH raced off the pace in the five path and did not threaten. MOVE IN SILENCE bumped with an inner foe early around the first turn, stalked in the four path but weakened. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER THE STEWARDS HELD AN INQUIRY TO LOOK AT THE RUN AROUND THE FIRST TURN.
