Chart notes
MARKED ACE angled over to lead the way up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and just held off the closers to the wire. REGAL'S CHARM chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and gained ground late to just miss. RIDGEHEAD raced at the back of the pack on the inside early, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and gained ground steadily to the wire. ATTILA STYLE raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground to the wire, racing into traffic late. W F AMERICAN HONEY stalked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and was outkicked in the stretch. TUCUM KARI raced in the middle of the pack through the opening stages, navigated the turn from the three path and faded in the lane. MONTEREYS ANTHEM pressed the pace on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and tired in the stretch. FLY BECKY raced at the back of the pack on the outside through the early going, came around the turn in the five path and was empty in the lane.
