Chart notes
ST. JUDE settled back to be the early trailer, gained position through the turn six wide, drove through the stretch to get by just in time. BOUNCER raced in the middle of the pack, made a five wide bid exiting the turn, rallied and just missed. SHOWSTOPPER COPPER stalked the pace from the inside, took command after the quarter and opened up by a couple of lengths in the stretch, weakened late to give way to driving foes. SCARAMOUCHE raced off the pace, made an inside bid at the three sixteenths but came up empty. CHIPOTLE pressed the pace three wide, weakened in the final furlong. SOZE set the early pressured pace from the two path, gave way in the quarter and retreated.
