IMPERIAL MERLOT led inside, bid at the three-eighths pole and drew off under a steady drive while gearing down late. MISS CANDY POP stalked the pace inside, faded in the stretch and gained the place late. BEBECITA dueled early outside of the winner and gave way near the three-eighths pole.
