Chart notes
HECTOR was well placed in the clear following the pacesetter through the far turn, assumed command from the tiring leader midway down the lane and finished well to be clear at the wire. GOOSE HUNTER tracked the leaders from four wide to the top of the lane, angled six wide to the clear and showed good late interest to be up for the place. MACKENZIE'S NOVVA rated off the pace saving ground along the inside to the quarter pole, tipped three wide turning for home and finished willingly. RECYCLE set the pace on a well rated, clear lead to upper stretch and weakened coming home. LOUISE BROOKS was not a threat. VALENTINE BUG stalked the pace to be instriking distance at the head of the stretch and failed to respond lacking a closing bid.
