Chart notes
PRINCE OF AYRSHIRE unhurried to be near the back, commenced an extended rally into the far tun steadily gaining to engage the leader inside the eighth pole and drive to the lead in the final sixteenth. DRILLING FOR GOLD prompted the pace down the backstretch, ralliedto challenge nearing the quarter pole, took command turning for home and was outfinished in deep stretch. MAYNARD rated in mid-pack four wide to the far turn, circled six wide at the top of the lane with a good rally and failed to get passed the top pair in a good effort. I'M NO ANGEL stalked the pace to midway on the far turn, rallied to threaten at the top of the lane and weakened in the final eighth. YARDMAN failed to menace. JIBILIAN set a pressured pace for three-quarters and gave way in the lane.
