Chart notes
THEE NEW BEGINNING pressed the pace two wide past the quarter pole, gained a narrow lead, drifted out a bit in upper stretch giving up the advantage to the runner up, dug in gamely under left then right handed urging to regain the lead late and edged clear nearing the wire. RENO TOUCH set a pressured pace along the inside past the quarter pole, was headed by the winner, came on again to regain the lead before the furlong marker then was denied in the late stages despite a game effort. ROWDY DAISY never far back, finished with good courage three wide. FULL TIME STRUTIN with the second flight two wide, went evenly. MY SUZIE Q stalked the pace along the inside into the stretch then faded. ELIKA trailed.
