Chart notes
GEAUX SUGAR challenged for the early lead, dueled throughout on the front end and prevailed for the win, while racing inside. BRAHMS BOY vied for the early advantage, dueled throughout, was outfinished for the win, but proved best of others. LOUDERMILK raced within striking distance, proved no match for the top two, but was a clear third. FLASHY BOY raced within contention, came around the turn on the outside, weakened and finished evenly. WILD BERT raced near the back in the early part, moved up, but was no factor. DETECTIVE BERNARDO raced near the middle of the pack, weakened and was no threat late. DOUBLEDIAMOND DEAL raced near the back and was never a threat. GRAZEN BOY always raced near the back, had a wide trip and showed little.
